Barn Conversions

Transform an agricultural building or barn into beautiful living space with barn conversion services from MTS Test Site. Barn conversions are an increasingly popular way to create characterful homes from redundant agricultural structures across the Edinburgh and Livingston areas. Converting a barn requires specialist knowledge of structural assessment, planning considerations, and conversion techniques that preserve the building's original charm whilst delivering modern comfort and functionality. Whether you own a traditional stone barn or a modern agricultural building, our team can guide you through the conversion process and deliver a high-quality result. Barn conversions present unique challenges that demand experienced hands—from assessing structural integrity to managing complex builds in rural settings. We work with property owners to unlock the potential of these distinctive buildings, creating homes that combine rustic character with contemporary living standards.
